PBJHS Goals

PBJHS students, parents, and faculty have developed the following set of goals for our school:

Develop a caring, collaborative culture in which all students and educators expect to succeed.

Maintain a staff of moral & ethical professionals committed to the continued growth and development of all learners.

Cultivate a shared responsibility for learning.

Enhance positive communication between students, parents, and staff.

Promote the development of student responsibility for personal behavior and academic success.

Provide curriculum and instruction that emphasizes active learning, social interaction, and relevancy in a safe and nurturing environment.

Poplar Bluff R1 Schools Mission Statement

The mission of the Poplar Bluff R-1 School District, in partnership with parents and community, is to educate all students to their potential, and to inspire them to be lifelong learners, who possess the skills and knowledge necessary to be productive members in our changing world.
