On the left is First Christian Church, located in the same block where the Butler County Justice Center is located now. The white building on the far right is South Methodist Church, located in the present location of First Presbyterian. Also on the right is the Presbyterian Church with its square spire. It was located in the site that later became a drive-in bank facility. |

| First Christian Church, at the corner of Main and Oak Street |

| Second Baptist Church, located at the corner of 5th and Pine Street. The highway signs indicate that Pine Street was also known as US Highway 60 and US Highway 67. At the time of this photo, Highway 67 came up 11th Street from the south, turned and followed Pine Street, and then turned and went up North Main, out the Old River Road. At the Hilliard Bridge, it turned and followed the route of Highway W and Highway O through Hilliard and Hendrickson, before continuing north on its current path. |
