| The five photos here are of the old Poplar Bluff Hospital and the associated Hendrickson Clinic. They were located on the site of the present day Library Annex and Library parking lot. The hospital and clinic covered the area from Second Street down Oak Street to Main. |
| Across Second Street from the Poplar Bluff Hospital was Lucy Lee hospital, where the police station stands today. The large glassed-in rooms on this end of the building were lounge or waiting room areas. Often, patients would visit their friends and families in these areas. |
| The Veterans Administration Hospital has been a proud part of Poplar Bluff for many years, caring for the needs or our servicemen and women. |
